Scot stumbled into the industry in 2004. His love of mountain biking, hiking, and the great outdoors has endeared him to fitness. Actually, Uncle Sam forced him to embrace an active lifestyle in the early 1980's and the habit remained. In an attempt to flee the rat-race, he moved to Colorado. Snowboarding and mountain biking became his passions. Unfortunately, work conspired to keep him out of the mountains he loved so much. He tired of the countless hours spent in hotels and airports while working for various equipment manufacturers. With more than a little trepidation, he walked away (actually, he ran!) from corporate sales and started freelancing.
